For those with a short stay in Kraków, we have prepared a one-day trip to two of the most popular attractions in the area. During this trip, we will take you first to the Auschwitz-Birkenau National Museum, a symbol of terror and extermination. During World War II, it was the largest Nazi concentration camp established in the suburbs of Oświęcim. In the afternoon you will visit the Wieliczka salt mine, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, where mining has been going on continuously since the Middle Ages. Chapels of St. Kinga and St. Antoni are the most spectacular places in the mine, decorated entirely with salt.
Our individual trip to the Museum and Wieliczka Salt Mine takes about 9-10 hours. There is a possibility of lunch break after visiting the Auschwitz-Birkenau National Museum and before visiting the mine. Usually, our pick-up time of guests is 8 AM to 10 AM, depending on the location. Transfer to the museum, with our English-speaking driver, takes a little over an hour while visiting with a professional guide takes about 3.5-4 hours. As exhibitions and museum exhibits are very well described, you can choose to visit without a guide at your own pace, which is completely free of charge. The ride from the museum to the mine takes about an hour, and its tour about 2.5 hours. After the trip, our driver will take you straight to the hotel or a designated place in the centre of Kraków.
